Agreed that the mastering (for vinyl) is very well done. The separation and detailing is lovely and frames LaHavas playing in a way I never got from the cd. Her vocals are nuanced but run into sibliance issues. She seems like a Vocalist who sings close to the mike so her "ssss" can veer toward harshness, and she is a breathy and verbose singer. Still and all, she sounds overall sweet and meliflous- kudos to the production and mastering. My issue is withh the noisy pressing, which has a slight warp. The color is also swirl blue - No hint of pink. Gripes aside this was a great rsd release and very happy to own this.

Wow! Beautiful pressing that explodes out of the speakers.
The color of the vinyl is mostly light blue with a tiny bit of white (not pink). Very slight warp to mine, but DNAP. -
Sound is pretty damn good!!
Minor bits of non-fill remained after a good spin clean but otherwise it was a great pressing.
Vocals are very forward in the mix, which absolutely suits this album because her voice is gorgeous -
Sounds great, no real noticeable sibilance or noise, only a couple of clicks on A1. Blue press with little parts of white & no pink, like most of the others mentioned.
I haven't got the original to compare to anymore but I was under the impression this was remastered. Reading through again, it looks like a straight reissue, which is all good.
I wasn't expecting to bag a copy as it said there were only 300 being pressed. Currently there's 73 for sale on Cogs worldwide, which is nearly a quarter of what was produced, making me think there were more made.. -
Love this pressing! Really glad to finally have it on a colored LP. The pink is a light pink in this mixture so it's very faint and appears more on the white side when with the blue, so I understand the confusion about it looking more white. I also wish the pink were more pronounced, but it's really nice nonetheless!

Sounds incredible, no problems for me at all. Such a brilliant album!
Only thing I would say, as others have, is that the record itself is blue and white, not blue and pink as stated -
Edited one month agoFantastic release! After a quick spin clean it’s ~98% silent on both sides, centered with only a slight wobble that DNAP. Sound is fantastic! Much more open than streaming via Qobuz. The soundstage is decently wide and VERY deep. Not much forward projection, so it’s more of a bowl shaped soundstage than a sphere, but details are very well located and separated. Very enjoyable listen and glad to finally have it on wax

Im very pleased with this pressing. Looks great and plays/sounds very good. Im happy they repressed this one.

One of my most wanted records and it disappointed badly. So much surface noise on the beginning tracks on each side. I think this is from GZ media because all my pressings from that plant have the same issue. I’m actually sad, I can’t get a replacement cause there is none I got the last one. I just wanted a perfectly functional record of this rare album :(
