Edited 20 years agoOne of Wham!s hits that I never really liked to begin with. But over the years, this one has continued to grow on me. Maybe its the infectious fun of the tune, maybe its the irresitable get up and dance rhythm, or maybe its the image of George and Andrew in tight tennis gear that is etched in my mind - I can't say which one, but this track gets me every time.
These days, whenever I hear it, I cast my mind back to little white pants, sweat bands and choose life sweat tops, and bounce around the loungeroom pretending to be George or Andrew. I can never decide which one to be - George was the real talent here, or Andrew who was always really hot.
This is the song we all associate with Wham!, their biggest hit, but alas its not their best tune. It was a song however, that defined an era and makes me yearn for more.
