Really great instrumental prog tho Ill have to it at times the 70s fusion seeps into the compositional matrix but hey prog & fusion are soul brothers! Seriously I am a sucker for really great flute playing and if you are as well then this album has many a nice ages with flute accompaniment and that pastoral sound at times that only early Genesis 1971-75 could conjure.
The best part of the releases is that there is NOT a heavy guitar overbearingness and the musicians seem to listen to one another in the sense that the songs are not overly saturated with instrumentation and theres breathing room. I had no idea Spain could muster such brilliant prog rock and a a real shame there are few reviews for such a fine debut. Highly recommend this for those who are inclined to the jazzier/romantic style of prog rock.
