Without a doubt, one of the crown jewels of my vinyl collection. This edition is a masterpiece in every sense—a true testament to the artistry of both the music and the medium. The sound quality is nothing short of breathtaking. The vinyl delivers a rich, immersive audio experience that brings every layer of Manson's hauntingly powerful tracks to life. It’s the kind of sound that makes you appreciate the magic of analog all over again. But it doesn’t stop there. The packaging and print quality are equally exceptional. From the striking artwork to the meticulous attention to detail in the design, this release is a visual and tactile delight. It’s clear that every aspect was crafted with care and ion.

Sounds fantastic. Stellar album. Manson is back in a big, big way..
The limited edition box set sold out and has skyrocketed in price now. So glad I jumped on a copy when I did! -
After such a prolonged hiatus, anything Marilyn Manson would be bound to be met with positive regard for music enthusiasts.
Cryptic as ever, "One Assassination Part 1" focuses on assassination of character in the way that the other Eminem attempted to achieve this year with his own feature LP.
ittedly the parallels between the two millennial shock music icons do not end there as every song on "One Assassination Part 1" either draws inspiration from past records in Manson's rich discography and tour companions - those "Hey,Hey,Hey" 's sound oddly like "Mr. Superstar"; a lot of the instrumentation harkens back to "The Pale Emperor" while the spoken word instances sound like something out of "Born Villain".
Taking his time to spend a majority of the record to take on the silly S.A. allegations levied against him over the years by washed up, past their prime actresses, Manson espouses the axiom of "casting stones in a glass house" while hitting the notes of career highlight vocals without this necessarily being a revisitation of any of his old albums.
There's "Portrait ..." screams, there's "Antichrist" acoustics, and there's as much "We Are Chaos" social commentary as there is lovesick laments that could have been found on "The High End Of Low".
My only issue with this is that I wanted to hear the new Manson.
The closest the band gets to a new direction on this record are on the dizzying single "As Sick As The Secrets Within" - but that honestly sounds like "Dope Hat" married "Deep Six".
The other single in "Raise The Red Flag" sounds like a White Zombie t, and over the years Manson has been on tour with Rob Zombie and it seems that he's been cribbing notes.
As the funeral dirge played out on "Sacrifice Of The Mass", I wondered if there was going to be some hidden tracks. Then I ed this is just the beginning. Should Manson continue forward with this series as planned (this realm doesn't need another "Holywood" novel debacle) I'll be happy is the record serves as a prelude to a new direction for the band.
If not, "One Assassination" as a a standalone is a brisk rundown of the sounds and styles that Marilyn Manson has given ears for decades on end, reminding listeners why Manson's music is immortal and untouchable - unlike the fallible lead singer.

Everything in this box is flawless. The printing, the quality, the materials. The album is definitely in his top-top releases and it remarks one historic comeback.
-
Something I haven't seen any one mention is that the vinyl cover seems to be a bit higher quality then the other versions the colors deeper, the black is darker and the cardboard seems to be a bit thicker.
-
Just got my per order today.
