This is much better than Shades of Blue. Not as good as Kind of Blue but what is. This is a great album and quite rare so get it while you can. Very highly recommended

Astonishingly good. It wears its Kind of Blue modal chops well but never in a derivative way. If you like the ensemble work of Rendell/Carr (esp Shades of Blue) you will absolutely love this record.

This is the best Jazz lp I've heard this year. Beautiful "cool" and elegant sound (look at the cover) with a lick of modern expeiments. Such a great music!
