10/10 packaging, the booklet and poster are amazing just like with renaissance. sound is fantastic and very clear with little to no surface noise.

No inner groove distortion on alligator tears and amen, which is odd since amen ends with a high pitch sound.

When we talk about excellent vinyl releases, THIS is what we mean. Cowboy Carter is simply beautiful. You get 2 LPs housed in individual sleeves, with photos on both sides. Along with that is a booklet containing song lyrics and stunning photos from the album photoshoot. This booklet uses a heavier paper and is great quality. Also, you'll get a MASSIVE double-sided poster.

Very happy Bey released an LP with the full tracklist (I waited to find it for a good price because $60 is insane… Target currently has it for 30% off, so I jumped at the opportunity,) and I echo the other reviews that say the packaging is beautiful. That being said, I also echo that side B does sound unnaturally tinny compared to the others. I feel this may be because they decided to squeeze a bunch of songs onto that side instead of evenly redistribute the tracks across all sides (and thereby cut 4 new lacquers) to for the additional songs. This cost-cutting measure is disappointing, but I’d rather this than have a truncated tracklist.

The packaging is perfect BUT I didn't like the mastering of the record 1 especially side B, for me the voices sound full of sibilance and not well defined.Sometimes sounds like a mp3 128 file.Record 2 sounds much better.
Anyone else had the same impression?

Keep the comments impartial here. Nobody wants to know how much you love Beyoncé. The issue is that she releassed a subpar incomplete collection in March. She or her distributors even spelled her name Beyince in the spine of the set . She reissues this box finally as intended but none of the fans that bought that hack set will get their moneysback. And this corporate greed is ridiculous. Same thing with Gaga who released her latest solo Chromatica basically without a cover during the pandemic and afterwards she sold the set again. She basically charged the fans twice. See things a bit clearly.

A tiny bit quieter than most in my collection, but the 180g records are super nice and sound perfect. Very minimal surface noise!

Love how well this sits next to my Renaissance box set.

Also the booklet is insane. Photo booklets that come with records usually don’t illicit a strong emotional response from me, but the artfulness, care, and thought put into this one gave me chills multiple times as I flipped through. Beyoncé is a legend!!

Beautiful packaging and trimmings. Records are nice and heavy and sound great.

Dope Record. It will grow on me for sure Beyoncé super fine on her cowboy shyt, but this ain’t album of the year.

Got a lot of controversy and weird energy thrown at it & none of it had to actually do with the music. Usually that means the music is legendary.

Tyrant is a great record & I loved the skits. The album was too safe. For a world record and if this really is the blending of all genres coming together, I assumed a goat level album. Beyoncé floated on the whole album. Just didn’t feel it like an album of the year after the 1st listen all the way thru.

I thought I would love this more, but ended up feeling like I should’ve copped Renaissance. I was hyped they put all the tracks on one album. Get this for the Booklet & Poster PERIOD!!! Best I got in a record sleeve ever.
