Edited one year agoA nice easy listening break in between all those great Warp IDM albums, I thought at the time. Who would have thought that this would be the sound Warp would push for the most part during the next five years.
As such it is a milestone in the annals of the label, Warp was Progressive House until 1993, then IDM, and with Broadcast, Jimi Tenor, Plone et al went on an easy listening venture starting from 1997.
I Warp for the years 1993-1997. -

Edited 20 years agoThis is a strange record. At first sight it sounds like an early 70s rockband played here like The Doors or Velvet Underground. But the production skillz and instrumentation tell a modern thinking of these roots. Great record for friends of Air or Portishead.
