5/5 for the packaging alone. Thick, glossy printing with beautiful artwork. Really top quality printing job. The blue vinyl looks more opaque than transparent, but it's there on close inspection or when held up to natural light. Looks nice next to the jacket.
Musically, Seeker is a welcome return to CBL's percussive-oriented chillout sound that was temporarily abandoned on Stochastic. It's slow, spacious, and bass heavy, with more of that space travel vibe they have gotten so good at. My only gripe is that I felt a bit of high end was missing on the vinyl, so I boosted the high freqs on my amp and it sounds a bit better. Otherwise, nice flat vinyl with no pops or clicks and just the right amount of soft static that compliments this music perfectly. -
