Great pressing - really quiet, really dynamic. Weirdly long silence at the start of the record made me think there was something wrong, then the 'Hello, this is Gorgeous, anybody out there read me?' sample kicked in and we were off! -
Excellent repress albeit one that you need to crank up the volume a bit to hear it properly - that's not saying it hasn't dynamic range.
The mixing of the tracks is uneven with some elements really shinning while others not. A good example is "Kill All Hippies" where Mani's bass is outstanding while the drums needed more punch (at least in my opinion). Flip the record and Jagz Kooner's mix sound amazing with the drums really coming in on their own.
Highlight of the album in of pressing is "Pills" which is dead quiet and crystal clear - good candidate to test turntable setups! -
