Edited one year agoThis collection of tracks, available for long among other marvels by Duster to be listened to on YT, at last published is total bliss. These guys have so much to share ! Some of my favorite songs are at least on a record, like "The Weed Supreme" (this title !), "Testphase" or the amazing "The Mood" (you will find you own favorites here i' sure) and also the primitive version of "Gold Dust" entitled here "Darby".
The cover artwork is simply magnificent, and combined with the blue & ruby splatter on clear vinyl, will bring thrills and joy forever.
For those who know about Duster music, we are in the "Stratosphere" era, and something of the mood is close. Still, this collection is a big more chaotic in aesthetic and this messy feeling (the different sound, mixing, instruments on the different songs) is bringing something absolutely unique to this LP. It also shows how Duster have been creative and inspired from then to now, and i love these guys !
What's sweet is that there are still a few more songs left in their archives, so let's hope another marvelous LP is to be published in the future...
