Tedra sounds a bit like Larkin has sampled the intro of B12's "Debris" (of Electro-Soma).

does anyone know why 'my travels' is omitted from the digital reissues? seems a weird choice

In the age of re-issues, why has Warp not seen fit to reissue this, maybe they do not own the rights any longer. Just wish this would get a nice reissue, gatefold, 180g vinyl......one of the best Detroit techno lp's ever.....

I the plastic wrap sticker and marketing inlay called this part of the 'Artificial Intelligence' series though it doesn't say that anywhere on the record cover itself.

Kenny Larkin is one of my favorite Detroit Techno artists and I really enjoy this album. That said, I don't think it's his best work because he really hit his stride on his next two LPs ("Metaphor" and Dark Comedy's "Seven Days"). The style on this LP is smooth, melodic, and a little busy with the percussion. Spacey and funky at the same time. It's fitting that it came out on Warp because it's more of a cohesive home listening album than a collection of all out dancefloor stompers. Some of the more upbeat tracks would definitely work fine in a DJ set.

This is the absolut Advanced Techno Album Back in the Day.
So much that only 400 were sold in !
Now considered as the best Larkin release wich shows how he is like Carl Craig one of the most 90's creative producers.
Some Tracks are Floors Classic, dedicated in famous DJ mix by Laurent Garnier or Stacey Pullen.. Other ispired Tracks are So Marvellous - MY TRAVELS - and emotive!!!
                    DETROIT at his best effect.
