Longtime Lang fans know that although she'd been making a name for herself throughout the 80's her career took off after her performance at the Winter Olympics, as well as a Grammy-winning Duet of "Crying" with Roy Orbison. With reverent respect to the late Mr Orbison, k.d. Lang leaves their duet in the dust here. Let me put this in perspective: imagine a bunch of jaded new yorkers so gobsmacked that they spontaneously erupt into applause and cheers right in the middle of the song before realizing what they've done. Yep. Exactly.

In all actuality, the entire set is utterly astounding.
