In my opinion, this is one of the most essential lesser-known thrash metal albums from start to finish. When people think of Seattle they'll think of all those so-called grunge bands, but in 1989, it was all about Forced Entry. They were essentially Seattle's answer to Testament/Death Angel/Sacred Reich/Nuclear Assault, and with the fact that "Uncertain Future" was released on one of the biggest indie metal labels at the time, Combat Records, there were obviously high hopes for Forced Entry. But problems with their record company (and, ironically, the popularity of grunge) made it impossible for this band to achieve "next big thing" status, which I feel is sad given how unique of a power trio Forced Entry was.
