WAYYY too overhated. Personally? This might be one of my favourite VH albums, up there with 5150, Balance, and Fair Warning. -

Love my new mint copy of this CD release that I just picked up. This is a super under-rated album with some great tracks on it.
This is an Eddie Van Halen album first and foremost, as he had some amazing guitar solos and riffs here, and clearly had a personal vision when creating this album with Gary Cherone on vocals.
If you are a Van Halen fan, this is an absolute must addition to your CD collection. -
Super good record but shitty af mastering and production. Hope if any reissue comes out that Wolf or somebody else (with consent from the VH camp) remixes and remasters this, production too. This album has SO MUCH potential. -
One of the best Van Halen albums this band put out. The shitty VH fans wanted David or Sammy on vocals (and didn't give the album a chance), each of which didn't want to sing the others songs live. But Gary had no problem singing the others songs and he pulled it off. It was a step forward.
