Unbelievably good. This album has to be one of the greatest albums of the 80s, and simply one of the greatest of the "pop" era of Genesis.

"No Reply At All", "Abacab", "Keep It Dark", "Like It Or Not", "Man On The Corner", ALL very memorable tracks that seal this record as nothing short of pure genius and fun. What an era, what an album.

My copy has no B side label and the A side label is way off centre, also the central hole is misshapen....

Abacab is holding up well after all these years, but Who Dunnit? has no place on this record - imho

Not impressed with my original UK copy on vinyl - sound quality is pretty poor, mushy highs, little low end bass, no real punch or conviction in the sound - very thin overall. Trick Of The Rail however sounds awesome.

With Peter and Steve there would never have been such a thing under the name of "GENESIS". Sarah Jane is a nice song, the remaining rest is just garbage.

Surface noise throughout but not enough to be distracting. There is some decent low-end and instrument separation here although some tracks muddle the production (cymbals are buried in the mix in Like it or not for example). Bizarrely, the worst song on the album (whodunit) is the best mixed.

The end of side 1 (Keep It Dark) is pretty badly distorted on my copy.

Hi, I was recently given a record identical to the 1st UK vinyl pressing except it doesn't have the "Manufactured and distributed by phonogram LTD." text on the label. Does anybody know what pressing or version this may be?

It's interesting to see that nobody has commented on the title of this album. Does anybody the Sega Genesis version of the game Mortal Kombat? The code to unlock the blood mode was ABACABB! Sega Genesis and the title of this Genesis album Abacab (the code added an additional B to it) is in my opinion MUCH more than a mere coincidence. I just thought that odd bit of trivia should be known. I welcome any comments.
