Reviews
-
The score is top notch. Haunting, but not obnoxious with the jump scares as other horror scores are. No quality issues on my LP.
-
It took 3 copies of the first LP before I got one that wasn't overtly crackly, there's still some noise on there but bearable. However, as mentioned by me in previous reviews, they have a great aftersales service.
-
After 2 exchanges at my local shop, same result, horrible mastering and a pressing full of surface noise, cracks and pops. So I'm re-submitting my review despite this label's bad habit of asking us to remove negative reviews in private messages on our social networks. I agree with the 2 reviews below and reaffirm my own: this is bad.

A fantastic soundtrack but hardly the release I was hoping for. The packaging is great but the sound leaves a lot to be desired. The pressing is riddled with noise, pops, shrill and fatiguing treble and sibilance through just about every track. Listening to this record through head phones is not a fun experience. Through speakers the record fares slightly better but is not good enough considering the price tag. A disappointment...

Edited 2 years agoLooks really great but as usual with waxwork it's almost unlistenable, some part are fine.. I got the same for friends who have the same pressing.
took it only for the collection not for the sound, probably my last buy from this label
