One Of The Best Sounding Albums Of The 80's, This CD Sounds Phenomenal, Sometimes It Even Feels More Hifi Sounding Than The LP To My Ears With The Details, Especially The Buried Details Within The Mixes (The Bass And Additional Percussion / Drum Overdubs On The First Few Tracks Being A Great Example) Being Much More Audible. While I Love This Album I Prefer To Listen To The 12" Mixes Of The Hits And Some Of The B-Sides Of Those Singles Are A Lot Better Than What Is On The Album. I Understand It's Meant To Serve As A Soundtrack To The Prince Movie It Was Released For But Some Of The Songs Like Do U Lie Or Life Can Be So Nice Come Across As Filler, Nice Filler But Ultimately Makes The Album Feel Uneven When Placed Next To Amazing Pop Gems Like Mountains Or Kiss.
