Best Der Blutharsch album till now. Not excessively long, 40 minutes of perfect balance between martial hymns, slow ambient pieces and introspective acoustic songs. A2 is my favourite Blutharsch song (together with the fantastic 7"). The album is various, quick and effective, you can't get bored. It includes vocals by Geoffrey D. (Dernière Volonté), Marco Deplano (Wertham, Foresta Di Ferro), Bain Wolfkind (Novo Homo) and Jörg B (Allerseelen), plus sound assistance by Wilhelm Herich (Genocide Organ). - originally posted on 1st June 2004 -

I feel the need to update my comment above, originally posted on 1st June 2004. At that time, I really loved this Blutharsch album, indeed thinking it was their best. But, listening to it again in November 2009, I got the exact opposite impression. It definitely didn't stay the proof of time. I couldn't find anything interesting about the songs, they all sound so empty and superficial. "In The Hands Of The Master" is probably the only one worth a second listening. These days I stay true to the early Blutharsch releases only.

The best album since "der sieg..". finally found the perfect balance between the inclusion of samples in a proper way, martial drumming and voice. its truly a jewel and a must for all der blutharsch accolites. much more melancholic than combative althougth the combat spirit its in the air and sometimes its very pronounced. as usual theres included an old song from the WW2 period this time a nationalist song from japan that serves as powerful intro for the album.
feel the lyrics drink some wine and get the deep message...time is thee enemy.
