Edited 2 years agoGreat pressing (original Greg Lee 1996) still 50 mins long (after Novacane edit) so I’m surprised it doesn’t sound more compressed. Great soundstage.

This Bong Load version features a cut out version of the song Novacaine. 1 minute is missing at the end of the song. It's ending with a fade out. The simply vinyl edition has the normal song cut like the cd. Looking at the record, the tracks look larger on this version than the simply vinyl edition. Furthermore it souds better.
Tri-fold poster included! -
(A-side) Devil's Haircut, Hotwax, (B-side) Where It's At, Readymade..... My favs but entire album is great to listen/jam to.

This album , very different , I listen mostly to jazz , dub , African , funk etc but I bought this to sell and it became a keeper . Great record !!!
-
My copy does not include 36"x12" insert/poster, Bong Load sticker and either Bong Load order form.
I bought it in Barcelona in 1998.
Anyone having the same problem? -
Edited 8 years agoOn the Modern Vinyl website they have some news about the reissue coming this October. "Vinyl Me, Please" is apparently releasing an alternate/variant version which is one LP pressed on marbled burgundy colored vinyl and includes 2x 12" posters + one sticker. Label says "DGC" so I guess it means this edition is directly made by Geffen Records.

Edited 9 years agoIt's funny, when I listen to this album none of the official conservative Discogs tags fit.
They should rather be something like; Alternative, Lo-fi. Nu-Punk. Distorted-Disco, Dirty-Blues, Bedroom-Garage, Post-Grunge, Indie, Experimental, Neo-Hippie, etc. etc. YOU said it!
Edit; Let's start a tag-war! :)
