wait... there is no vinyl release of this?
I was expecting to find a 12" with "Water From A Vine Leaf" or a vinyl version from the album. Definitely overdue release, as it will fly out the shops :) -

Found a CD of this in a charity shop and couldn't resist buying it even though I already have a copy. I'm sure it will make a great gift for someone who re the 90's.

Edited 3 years agoSadly another one of those 90's albums that slipped through the vinyl net... So, please, someone, somewhere reissue this classic Orbit album on plastic!
It deserves it solely for the original version of 'Water From A Vine Leaf' which unfortunately doesn't feature on the 12" version.
Surely before it's 30th Anniversary!! -
This one of those albums that gets dull if you listen from beginning to end, but if you hear odd tracks on their own they sound amazing. As an album it sounds a little flat and not very inspiring, it kicks off well with a beautiful track with guest vocals from Beth Orton, but then it kind of gets more and more dull. For me this album will only get played as background music, as it is just perfect for that. But to be honest it will only be listened to once in a blue moon. For better chilled dance albums I'd go for Chemical Brothers or even Lemon Jelly.
Stand Out Tracks: Water From A Vine Leaf, Into The Paradise & The Story Of Light -
