Edited 8 years agoI agree with DjCan about this album. It is really that good. The movie itself is not bad, either. Alice Cooper himself, is in this cult horror classic. He plays as a leader of minions (zombies), if you will. How cool is that?!

Edited 18 years agoThis is soundtrack is close to perfection. It's one of those few examples where the music makes the movie. From the technical point of view it is - as most of Carpenter's early works - a motion picture score that repeats its main theme throughout the movie, but varies it in a lot of ways: sometimes very dark and frightening, sometimes unbelievable beautiful and full of hope. In my opinion it's the most atmospheric soundtrack ever made. If you're either into John Carpenter's stuff or just love ambient music you'll have to own at least one copy.
