I have stated before that house isn't my cup of tea. So, the rating concerns my music taste. Someone else may find this release decent. I it that i bought it for collection reasons only, so i will try and be as much accurate as i can. From the first cd i only liked tracks 14, 15, 17 and 19 which were the less house tracks. A large number of tracks had carnival elements, the others were slow, soft with no build up and surprises to wait. Ok, 1993 is an intermediate year from house to techno and later rave music and this contradiction is found in the second cd. While the first cd was a total disappointment, the second was a pleasant surprise. With minor exceptions the second cd follows the path of early techno music. So...
Terapia is Terapia. Needless to say anything.
Fanatic trance is a clearly wannabe Age of love but successful.
More mystery is a dark techno track good for Rave now series.
Transamerican is the first exception.
Neebro a dynamic early techno track.
Sex angel is the second exception.
Sputnik sunday: keep on movin to the rhythm. Club hit.
Schoneberg, Prolog 1 are acid tracks i enjoyed.
The meltdown and heaven's tears are magnificent ambient-trance tracks with atmospheric mind travelling arpeggiators. Calm and beautiful.
Acid India the third exception.
Pg-theme and the dreamer are nothing special.
Galileo's trip. Thunderdome vol 1? The same style.
Xpq-21, a little bit monotonus acid track.
Opus. The fourth exception.
Escapade is the fastest track in both cds, acid like, a typical sound of the early 90's.
us on..... loved the drum patterns and the bass line. An early trance track.
