Never really connected with this album... until i got a better system that is. Very naughty things on this disc.

Outstanding and criminally overlooked release, partially due to "Leftism"'s huge success that overshadowed its successor a bit. Leftfield left the magic of progressive house to darker breakbeat, although "Rhythm And Stealth" features once again some calmer and trippy sounds in "El Cid", "Chant Of A Poor Man" and "Swords".
Honestly, do you have ever heard something like "Rino's Prayer" anywhere else ? The goosebups are HUGE. Each time I listen to it I recall the Spirit Temple in the "Ocarina of Time" video game, and that is irreplaceable !
Just like "Leftism", there are only mint songs. I also love the album cover, I wonder what is the source of inspiration of this creature.

It may not have the innovative status of its predecessor but "Rhythm and Stealth" offers some unique and gorgeous sounds that sound immaculate more than 20 years after its release. It will never get old.
