So this version with the black label was released in 1989 (according to the label) but has the Turbo B verse (“Like the snap of the whip … and you don’t want that!”), NOT the Chill Rob G verse (“Don’t say this, don’t say that, change your lyrics…”).
So am I correct that there were two versions of this record, both released as LOGIC 612 938:
* Black label, contains Turbo B vocals, 5:42 https://www.discogs.sitioby.com/release/229154-Snap-The-Power
* Light-gray label, contains original Chill Rob G sample from “Let the Words Flow”, 5:42 https://www.discogs.sitioby.com/release/20337-Snap-The-Power
Were this version and the Chill Rob G version released at the same time? -
OMG that original by Luca Anzilotti and Michael Münzing with the Rob G vocals! True masters of sampling. This whitelabel set a new high standard!

Edited 20 years agoThis original version featured a sampled rap by "Chill Rob 'G'" of the Flava unit (45 King, Queen Latifa etc.). Rapper Turbo B was then used so that the sample could be removed.
