"How far would you go to touch that cream? Would you kill another man to clutch your dream?" raps Millenium, philosopher, visionary, and songwriter. He takes listeners to another metaphoric level on Kaos Theory (House of Abdul), his debut album and one of the most innovative and fascinating albums of 1999. Millenium's rhymes are set against a catchy sonic backdrop showcasing the indisputable talent of this 18 year old prodigy who calls Washington D.C. home.
Kaos Theory is a deeply funky album covering the gamut from philosophical gangsta pathos to affairs of the heart. Millenium explodes into Wu-Tangesque territory with songs like "Too Hot; Wish You Was Here; Run, Run, Run; and Street Wars." He flirts with raw Jamaican-tinged hip-hop in the song "Gunpoint." "She's Leaving With Me" and "Fantasia" round out the album with their seductive and sultry poetry. The last cut, the title cut, Kaos Theory delves into deeply personal and controversial waters as Millenium challenges listeners to reanalyze the dream of the late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. A pulsing emotional journey, his music is the type to rock to on a late-nite smoke session.
Millenium is under contract to House of Abdul Recordings and is managed by Kazi Entertainment. Look for his video "How Far Will You Go" coming soon to The Box. The album's lyrical content is recommended only for heads mature enough to handle life and its many images.
