Notes
Fully authorized. Expertly remastered from the mastertapes. Originally released as a limited edition in 2009, 180g vinyl.
New copies started surfacing in early 2022, indicating a probable reissue. However, these new copies are seemingly identical to the 2009 issue and so a reissue is still unconfirmed.

Edited 2 years agoPressing is definitely excellent.
Vinyl quality is crap, does crackle after repeated playing.
(I likely have the here discussed & mentioned 2022 reissue with the same catalogue number and runouts.)
Yet I am surprised the sound quality being praised here.
I have no comparison to the original, but to many originals of the time and to extremely good reproductions where I had direct comparison. So obviously I cannot say whether the original may have sounded as flat as this with a constant volume level throughout, but frankly, I doubt it. Records of that time and Genre simply weren't recorded like this.
To me nonetheless a keeper because musicwise I do not find it exciting enough that I'd need buy an original.
That seemingly the label has decided to re-release a record 13 years later without it being distinguishable for the community, I find as distasteful as I find it dubious.
It might well be that the later reprints stem from the very same matrix?
Which then would be an explanation for the rather poor sound quality I've experienced here.
Since the 2009-issue was classed as "limited", that obviously constitutes a fraud. I shall correct that. -
Edited 2 years agoWow! This sounds really good. Quite surprising. I'm not sure about the source but if you told it was AAA I wouldn't be surprised.
Edit: No wonder it sounds good mastered at SST! -
I think this record was reprinted at the beginning of April.. This is what you can see from the 25 Euro sealed sales in Greece. but I wonder if a separate version is required for these newly released records? Records published in 2022 cannot be 2009 limited, right?:)

The vinyl is of great quality, the bass punchy, highly qualified HQ-180g pressing. Nice label „Missing Vinyl Records“

Great music and really impressive reissue from one of the best Krautrock records ever.
Well balanced tonality. The bass is deep and tight, great mids and clear trebles with fine resolution. Musically a great mix of rock, psychedelic and jazz. Superb pressing from the original master tapes that you can hear on every spin. Highly recommended!
