    This album is Great!
This was on heavy repeat when I first got into Trance. I blasting this back in '96 on the city bus going to work on a discman and headphones, just enjoying my trip.
When the really wild, wigged-out sections happened, I noticed people looking at me. From seats in front, and on the sides. Some in dismay, and some in just bewilderment.
Looks of "What on Earth is this guy listening to??"
    1996. :)

I turned turned it down lower after that, but the regulars on the bus never forgot me...
They always looked to see if I was wearing those damn headphones....

this particular compilation somewhat reached cult status back in the days and became trendsetting for the sound until the progressive movement became all the rage around 1998 (spiral trax etc.)

This compilation is f*cking awesome and Im glad Ive found it. All my old goa's starting somewhere in 1994 were stolen from my car before a gig. And this one is absolute one of my greatest losses.
Amazing comp. Get it while u can

I've seen other compilations with top notch labels failing. And with this I've now seen the same concept suceeding with bravour! This is nothing short of an absolutely outstanding double cd compilation.

Looking at the names contributing I had high hopes and feared to be let down. I was not. This is the cream of the crop from the golden Goa age. Flying Rhino, Blue Room, TIP, Tunnel Records, Matsuri, Dragonfly and more. Everything comes together here. Essential for goa fans.

Judging by the artist line-up, this compilation gives the impression of being the greatest goa compilation out there ever. That could be true. Look at the artists: there is not a single one of them which hasn’t made history. Commenting on each track and artist is something I don't feel like, if you have a little of Goa knowledge you know who they are ;)

If you want just a touch of Goa Trance and want just a few CD's with the best then DtoG4 is one to have. It's still very easily accessible like most Distance material so there's no excuse really :)

This is also the CD that introduced me to psy/goa trance, and still the best compilation I've heard in the genre... it's somehow got a certain unique sound. No tribal influences, it's much more cybernetic and machine driven (but not nearly to the Matsuri level), with a deep, future-unease atmosphere. And still really energetic :)

Mine's also not the one shown above - it's a single disc in a translucent, flourescent yellow case, with no inlay but a cool hologram sticker on the front. The CD itself is also holographic - only holographic CD I've ever seen.

The compilation that introduced many many people to goa trance (including me). Not a single bad track, honest! This contains a lot of the top tunes from '96 and is pretty typical goa stuff with fractal layered melodies, lots of effects and a steady kick (track 9 on cd1 has a breakbeat!). Cd1 is unmixed, Cd2 is mixed by Dino Psaras but tracks are played intro to outro. My favorites: Cd1: 2(!),3(!),4,5 Cd2: 2,3(!),8
