Nice collector's item for 80s music lovers. Very cool exclusive versions. 2 cuts a side @ 33 1/3 RPM. Fidelity is OK - not great - but definitely a neat 7 inch which came with NME mag/newspaper. -
Edited one year agoThis is a really cool 7" ep. All exclusive at the time and as far as I know as of 2023 only the U2 Wire (dub) has appeared anywhere else (on the super deluxe edition of The Unforgettable Fire). The Smiths is from the famous Oxford Apollo show, Bronski Beat is an exclusive version, and Cocteau Twins offer a new recording of Ivo. The only downside is this is a 33 RPM 7" and the grooves are thin, so get a NM copy if you can. -
Wire dub is excellent piece of early work.....wish they had explored that option a bit more.
