This is a bullsh*t botched re-issue that is most likely mastered from the Complete Clay Recordings CD. I knew something was fishy when I heard the end of the last song on side A (Generals) and it included the studio banter ("Wilf's got horns...") that is supposed to be at the beginning of B7 (Freak). I used to have the old Clay pressing, and that was how it was, with Generals clocking in at around 3:20 without the banter, and Freak clocking in at around 2:30 with the banter, not 3:31 and 2:17 respectively like on this Radiation Reissues version. The original "Leather, Bristles, Studs And Acne" EP has Generals at B3 with Freak following it at B4, which is probably why on the 2-CD version, they mistakenly cut tracks 7 and 8 to have this same error with the intro of Freak being at the end of Generals. This isn't really a big deal listening to the CD as the songs are in chronological order to the EP, unlike this release where they split the last two songs from the first 7 and put them at the end of side 2. How do you make this kind of mistake? It's amateurish and almost ruins the whole listening experience. In fact, I pretty much consider this re-issue worthless.

Another classic album from "Radiation".
Recently, I bought three titles produced under the banner of "Radiation" (reissues) - they are beautiful releases and solidly produced: massive vinyl, clean mastering, fantastic polygraphy and strong covers.
I recommend buying from the heart: G.B.H. "Leather Bristles...", "City Babby's Attack..." and Discharge "Hear Nothing..." -
For anyone wondering or skeptical if these new pressings from Radiation Reissues are good or not, I have opened several and in my opinion they are quite high quality and completely enjoyable listens. The artwork looks crisp and professionally reproduced, the jackets are full box rather than single fold so the record, lyric sheet, and full poster slide in and out with no difficulty, and the sound is quite clear and crisp without any distortion or muddy EQ. The records themselves are weighing at around 150 grams with very little if any surface dust and virtually no static.
I don't have any other GBH pressings for comparisons, but the copies I've played sound well mixed, mastered, and leveled for vinyl. Perfect tracking on both sides, easy to listen to without over handling, and really well packaged, I'd say both the media and sleeve will hold up really well for a long time and a lot of listening.
