Edited one year agoI had some doubts about this pressing.
So I listened to its CD. Less emphasis on the bass, the scene is less open.
Then I also listened to the HRA: vinyl is less tiring for my ears.
A good record to have and a nice compilation. -
Not much to add beyond what others have said. Great sounding LP - low-end sounds incredible.
A great selection of cuts from beginning to end. Highly recommended. -
I have some very good sounding records (Pink Floyd, Sade, Supertramp, Tears for Fears, Simply Red, Joe Jackson) which all sound very good. This release is near to reference. Didnt expect this! The music is flawless good, the pressing ist dead silent and very well mixed.

Sound is amazing front to back, on such a strong tracklist. Love the arrangement of the tracks to get progressively darker as the compilation progresses, (with some exceptions) culminating in After Hours, which works as perfectly as a closer here as it did on the album of its namesake. Just top tier stuff -
Solid overview of The Weeknd’s career, in a neat 2LP gatefold. - retro artwork looks cool. Pressing is pretty flawless; definitely one of GZ’s better efforts. -
A great collection of hits. The sound is amazing, if you like his songs, this is a must have.

This sounds pristine. If you don't care for nothing else from Abel but the singles (like me), this is a most in your collection.

A pretty flawless pressing , very impressed. Always found his albums had a little too much filler so this fills the spot nicely. -
Not a fan, but if you want one record of Weekend to listen to then this is the one. Sounds good, ridiculously quiet. Not particularly impressed with the songs still, save for casual listening or BGM. -
