Nothing to get excited about. No music separation, Ed's voice sounds compressed. Maybe if youre not into HiFi, you could probably ejoy this. -
Edited 3 years agoHave to agree with the other reviews in of comparing this pressing with streaming. Vinyl has far better bass but lacks a bit in vocals and high tones. This can however also be a plus, on vinyl the vocals feel a bit more real and the streaming version more clear and pin-pointy. Although this is still a record I really enjoy with clear seperation of instruments and a certain warmth, when I compare it to the Tidal version his voice is crystal clear on there. On vinyl his voice is a bit softened and feels held back. May be one of the few albums I prefer streaming. Nonetheless a good record.
In of quality no complaining, perfectly flat record, no pops or anything and no surface noise. -
7 songs pressed on one side of the record! I like this pressing as this is a "real" LP and not a "fake" double album with two or three songs on one side. -
I have this version LP. The press is very clear, but the dynamic and the high frequencies are very bad. The bass is good. I think tidal streaming is better quality.
