Después de dejar Pescado Rabioso, Spinetta formó Invisible con Carlos "Machi" Rufino y Héctor "Pomo" Lorenzo, que venían de tocar en Pappo's Blues. El trio se consolidó como un grupo de culto, fundamentalmente por su originalidad. un estilo que oscilaba entre el jazz y el rock más progresivo. La edición original de este LP contenía un disco simple extra con 2 temas. “La llave del mandala” y “Lo que nos ocupa es esa abuela, la conciencia que regula el mundo”.
Este primer álbum de Invisible marco una etapa de creatividad única en la historia del Rock Argentino.
El arte de tapa, al igual que las ilustraciones que acompañan las letras de los temas en el sobre interior, son dibujos del artista plástico neerlandés M.C. Escher (1898-1972), cuya belleza y complejidad están a tono con la música que hay en el disco, tuve la oportunidad de ver a Invisible en la primera gira que hicieron por Córdoba, en el Ex Córdoba Sport de la calle Alvear en Agosto de 1974.

Wonderful album, amazing production and sound, ahead of its time. The songs are dynamic and lush, lots of jazz undertones with scintillating guitar work. This one grows on you. -
