Edited one year agoI am speaking here only of the 3CD "Olyphant" pressing of HTWWW. The band is firing on all cylinders and while the performances are masterful and exciting, the recording beneath the vox and guitar are lost and garbled. Only halfway through the 2nd disc does the bass begin to find any definition and shape.
I've heard bootlegs by different bands recorded at The Forum and The LBA, from approx the same time. At worst this sounds, in parts, like the worst of them.
