My copy sounds exquisite. Low noise, very nice sound stage mix of the natural instruments as well as the synths and piano. Love the packaging and while it is annoying that there's no 45 rpm label, that's kind of common on 45 speed masters I have. About half of them are labeled and half are not.

Thought I'd add my .02 since I'm currently listening...
My copy is flawless and sounds excellent. Love the thick, printed outer sleeve, though the blue tape seal is a little odd. I don't find the records to be "terribly thin" in the slightest. The only annoyance is the record sides aren't labeled, so you need to look at the runouts to know what side you're playing and there's no indication that it is a 45, so you need to before you play. Otherwise, I love this release. -
You would think for something that gets slapped with the label limited-edition there would be something special about this release. Unfortunately no there will be none of that here. Record itself is terribly thin, you would think they could at least release it on 180g? Nope, In fact the wax itself is thinner than most modern day releases and of all the colours to make a record it’s is on white vinyl. Looks great but unfortunately is a pain in the butt to clean. Artwork is quite basic nothing to really set it aside from the general release, but I do enjoy the gatefold. The album sounds decent though and I don’t mind the direction the boys have gone with this release.

Edited 3 years agoMy vinyl plays ok, the unfortunate thing is this album is a total snoozer IMHO, seems more like a "proper" jazz release and not really hearing their influences from other genres creeping in like they have on previous efforts - it's a fine record, don't get me wrong, but it's just so...normal and...jazz, nothing really grabs me on this.

Overall my copy sounds pretty good but there was junk/residue on two sides that didn't fully come off when I cleaned them and are audible pops/crinkles, luckily it only effects a small part but still frustrating. Not as cleanly pressed as I hoped for.

Purchased the white vinyl edition but my vinyl are standard black. It came sealed and has the sticker saying "White Vinyl" and everything. Wild.
