My copy has a scratched out character in the runouts on sides A B & C in the space between SA/B/C and SP1, is it the same for everyone elses?

Why is the length of “ET Extraterrestrial” 6:50 on the VMP and 7:50 on the original?
Is the VMP version really one minute shorter?

Perfect Album Perfectly Pressed And Mastered To Vinyl With The End Result Being An Exquisitely Detailed And Balanced Sound With Beautiful Highs, Mids And A Thick Pumping Bass Making Up A Hefty Bottom End. It Just Doesn't Get Much Better Than This. My Adoration For This Album Has Gone Thru The Roof After Hearing This Record, Words Can't Express How Utterly Impressed I Am With This, It's Definitely Worth The Big Bucks For A Mint Original, You Will Not Be Disappointed.

The colour of the label of the current photo that was ed to the original release 11 years ago is very pale where in actual fact the actual colour of the original pressing has a yellow colour label. Which is where the confusion about original press or the reissue (https://www.discogs.sitioby.com/release/17997811-OutKast-ATLiens) has come from. I have a copy of the original press with the exact same run our grooves (Matrix / Runout (Side A runout): 73008-26029-I-SA SPI HFM´96 CSB) with a yellow label which was given to me by a friend who bought it in 1996. There is no version of this with a more pale looking label. The images of the label that was ed 11 years ago - I think the colour must have faded either in the photo of the image or in the scan of it. I have ed new images of the orignal press label which reflects the actual colour of the labels. I have also ed photo of the run out grooves. If your copy matches all of this - then it is an original press. From all the copies I have seen on Popsike - none have the same pale colour labels as the photos ed to this page 11 years ago. Hope this all makes sense

Can anyone comment on how to tell apart an original pressing from reissues?

In a 1v1 comparison against the VMP version of this record, the OG wins out. OG overall sounds a bit better (tighter bass is most noticeable) and lacks the many issues with the VMP press (issues w/ surface noise and distortion).

Mine has an Explicit Warning over the S of ATliens and a green Sticker on the Front with „Greetings Earthlings … Produced Boy Organized Konfusion and Outkast“. Could this be US 1. press from 1996?

I have that original 2LP from 96, the best sounding version of this album. For Aquemini, the original release from 98 is as good as the 2009 & 2014 version. For their first album, i would go with the Vinyl Me please version from 2019, remastered , sounds better than the original.

Side A has a popping static noise with every revolution. Hard to listen to those tracks which is very unfortunate. Other sides are fine.

Did the vinyl release come with a comic book like the cd release?
