Edited 2 years agoOther comments notwithstanding, this is Duran Duran's opus and as such occupies a very special place in not just 80s pop, but also the larger new wave movement. In other words, it's easy to love and an even better listen. Australia pressing is quiet, punchy as heck and far better sounding than it deserves to be. If you can find a VG+ (or better) copy like mine, you're in for a bloody treat.

You have to be a fan of Duran Duran to appreciate this album. Otherwise, it's quite reminiscent of a continuous 80's Eurovision Song Contest. Couldn't wait for it to end.
