It is absolutly amazing to me to find out that this record came out in 1999!!!! The lead track on here, Nitestrike, sounds like it came out in late 1992 or 1993 which is a massive compliment. When I first heard this this track sounded like I would have heard it in a dark 1993 Grooverider jungle tekno set which is why I love this track so much. The only thing this track is missing is a hissy breakbeat in the background but that can be fixed with some clever mixing.

The beginning of Night Strike is fantastic. Strings / Strings & Beat / Bass Line / Bass Line & Beat / Strings, Bass Line & Beat. This is archetypal, but without rules, the rules of a spiritual dancefloor, there is no creation. Note that the title of the track refers to James Pennington UR's background as Nitestrike Specialist, also known at that time as the Suburban Night. See Dark Energy for more details.
