Amazing post punk record. Re-discovered recently. Such a great walk into possibilities, sounds, paste. Very curious why this EP isn't in any important post-punk list or tagged in discogs as such.

Bought this record early 1979, as a 19 year old lad who was living in a small peasant village. Who was just mostly listening to Bowie, Reed, Cockney Rebel and just discovering bands like Police, Joe Jackson, Elvis Costello, Boomtown Rats, as new music from over the North Sea. This record blew my mind away, i liked it but couldn't place it. Of course I started buying Go 2 and White Music, but still I think this Go+ is the best XTC ever made.

every time a copy of this record comes through the store, i think to myself, "i should check this out again. it's probably really good. and each time i do that i end up disappointed by how softly burbling its surface it. kind of like reaching for "this heat" and ending up with "thimble."
