Someone told me Nonesuch Records holds the Metheny discography. They really need to issue this album on vinyl.

so many metheny releases need to be on vinyl, 'the end of the world', 'imaginary day', but this one is top of that list -
Amazing laid back groove on “To The End Of The World” that crescendos into absolute guitar synth madness mid way then drops off the cliff back to complete serenity again. Mind blowing tune. Wax release long overdue as others have noted. -
This really needs a vinyl release badly - the only Metheny album that I go back too. Sounds like elevator music at first then you realize what is going on. Great Great album

"To the end of the world" and "Red Sky" has probably Methenys most ambitious guitar synthesizer
Assaults on recording....! He blows it wide open on these tunes!!!
