    Yes the bass on this single is totally insane. This is beyond Zep 2 loud. Over the years ive had several cartridges that can play the single though and some that won’t. My current set up will and the bass is truly the loudest ive ever heard on vinyl. If your table can handle it , its like being in the room with the Clash

      As mentioned previously - the B side has a major pressing flaw: jumps multiple times - even despite vinyl being in decent shape.
      This was caused by the pressing engineer boosting the BASS too far (quite possibly on instruction of the band to be fair).
      I’m sure there’s someone from The Clash camp can shed more light, surely?

        Known pressing fault on side B? I’ve got what looks like at least an Ex+ copy which has been machine cleaned also. Record is flat/no warp/dish - beginning few minutes of first track/side B skips in several places. The record looks flawless/no marks at all so perhaps a pressing fault?
