Pressing - 4/5
This press isn’t bad, a touch of surface noise but not distracting. My copy is slightly dished but I don’t notice it affecting play. A tiny bit of inner groove distortion, but not as offensive as some other records I have. In general, any imperfections are subtle enough that they aren’t noticeable unless you’re listening for them.
Mastering - 2.5/5
It’s perfectly average. Nothing special about having this on vinyl, and I’d even say hifi streaming is a touch better - but again, not a noticeable enough difference unless you’re listening for it.
Packaging - 4.5/5
If you’re a colored vinyl collector, this is a cool colorway and a nice package.
Overall - 3/5
Honestly, if this was any other band, I’d probably sell it. But Less than Jake is on my list of “own everything they have done in case it’s ever not on streaming” so by that measure, it’s a perfectly fine collectors item.
