Nice clean pressings, gloriously lo-fi and even had a low end in places. Very glad I picked this up. -
To follow up on my earlier response to ectorr, I ed Nigel Reeve to ask if he had any more details about the recordings on this release. His response: "all details of the recording sessions are in Lucas’ notes as to how he re them. The drumming styles are different so who ended up on the released mixes on this package were easy for him to ascertain. I’m afraid I can add no more to what is in Lucas’ notes and the interviews he’s done around the release. Best wishes, Nigel" -
it´s always been said (read) Lucas Fox only played only on "lost Johnny" even in the 2014 cd "Parlophone - 7243 8 54794 2 7" latest re-issue. Now we got new information, the 2020 reissue says Lucas played on "on Parole" and "City kids" plus "lost Johnny" on the original album and all the bonus tracks but "iron Horse" on the bonus tracks. Anybody knows the true?
