vol.5 is beside vol.7 my favourite one. like aphex twin it is hard to tell from which time the music is....old or new? or both, old tracks remixed? it could be from the dead cities sessions or from 97...my favourite phase.
however, it is a really great output, more like a real album than a compilation of old tracks like other parts of the archives series, perfectly put toegether.
this is timeless electronica for sure and a must have for any serious fsol fan.

So is this the one where it started being all new material or was it vol 4? I know when vol 1 came out it was intended to be a 3 volume series with each focusing on a certain time period of the pre-2000 era. Not sure if vol 4 is focusing on The Isness and The Otherness era or is just newly written stuff like vol 5 is.
