Great to see this album getting more recognition. An unfortunate year, but hopefully was warmed up by this reissue. It secretly saved the year. My theory personally!!

Wholly agree with other commenters, this is an amazing reissue. Nice rich sound, quiet pressing, though it was a little dusty right out of the packaging so I had to give it a light cleaning. The first note skipped on first play but didn't on subsequent listens. If you don't have the FD album and want it, this is the pressing to get - it's my understanding most other reissues are from vinyl, but this is definitely a master tape-sourced pressing. Five stars!

Edited 2 years agoOut of the box there are a lot of dust, and I can't get the first couple seconds played on both sides----it always gave me distorted and silent sounds. After cleaning the record sounds great.
This one sounds similar to the apple music version, which is a little bit distorted. I wonder if any original sounds better, because that looks like the case for the guy commented below who has a Spanish pressing. -
Genuinely brilliant pressing (well it is Record Industry!), great mastering.
Be With Records a pleasure to deal with direct and i wish them all the best, hopefully they reissue lots more! -
Edited one year agoI have the Spanish pressing from 1972 and although not wholly quiet it does play more dynamic and bigger. I don't know why people below say it's a great pressing. I bought it just thinking it could better my Spanish pressing but it was a big dissapointment and I got rid of it quickly. If it's easily sured by the Spanish it could be destroyed by an original from UK. Regarding the cover art, it's awful: blurred as hell. A waste of money!

Never heard of these guys. Judge the album by the cover because I couldn’t resist. Was NOT disappointed! Great pressing, awesome music!
