Edited 6 months agoAgree with the below reviews - there’s a lot to like here. It’s not as bloated as the Abbey Rd 1/2 speed, and the mid / highs are a little clearer. It’s not a day / night difference, just better controlled. If you want an OG, then purchase either this release, or the US Atlantic - mastered by George Piros. If you want a modern pressing, then stick with the Abbey Rd.

I agree - I have this, 2 x UK pressing and the DMM. This one is easily the best. Very crankable without becoming “too much” particularly in the upper end. Nice weight to the bass and good separation.

One of the best pressings. Lots of light & shade with a firm, robust level of bass. Although it's on Polar as is the Swedish version, the Norwegian pressing is by far superior, notably on Eagle which showcases a wider stereo image and previously unheard backing vocals and effects. Worth checking out. No idea which company pressed this, possibly EMI Scandinavia.
