Edited 2 years agoTwo monster tracks on this 12" both got a lot play back in their day ! With "Higher Than Heaven" big driving rumbling beats, bassline & that huge synth riff dropping into the euphoric hands in the air piano & vocal, dropping back into that synth ! Massive track. For me "Come With Me" was also a huge tune as soon as that synth riff dropped, mayhem, topped off with those driving beats & bassline ! Another monster of a track. Fantastic 12" with two absolute belters, defiantly worth a listen.

Someone seriously needs to do an edit of 'Higher than Heaven' where the intro is teased out much longer and that very effective euphoric chorus is extended...oh and the awefull vocal and plonky piano is taken out...please. -
Those pianos and vocal samples! Pure hands in the air, 5/5, would rave again. My copy is for sale but.. I think I may want to keep it after all. -

Edited 8 years agoI know Higher Than Heaven (Roar Mix) gets a lot of love here but for me in 91 being right in the middle of a big heaving sweaty mass of ravers with Come With Me coming out of the stacks was really hard to beat.
It had the perfect balance of tension and all out pulling your hair out hedonistic euphoria........having said that I just flipped the record ok ok Higher Than Heaven is pretty f*#ckin good as well.
Trainspotters: the Higher Than Heaven (Cat People Anthem) start is sampled from Vangelis. -
