CLASSIC EARLY DBX! And on Canada's Probe records... Choose any 1st press 12" released after this & you'll no doubt be looking at a lot more money... Grab one. As for the music, for sure, the DBX sound really came into it's own round about the release of 'Alien' on Peacefrog; but the foundations of that blueprint can be heard throughout. Most notably 'Lego' has that signature trademark technique of one carefully chosen sound taking the main stage, a sound most might be brave enough to use as a background flourish, but in the hands of D-Bell, it becomes a powerful, head wrecking tool. 'Frogger' also hints at the madness that would follow, and 'Neurotika' is a great, driving techno monster. In all, a harder, more European Techno sound for this early release from Daniel Bell, a one in a million producer & DJ that I have a great deal of respect for.
