Sinatra's greatest album? It certainly epitomizes his uncanny rhythmic sense, swaggering confident style & sound as he breezes through a set of sunny romantic standards that are upbeat in both tone & rhythm w/ Frank laying behind the beat, taking advantage of every opportunity for emphasis, surprise & syncopation. Ace arranger Nelson Riddle adds to the mellow mood.
Essential for anyone who likes their Sinatra swinging & full of joy (rather than the cooler more bluesy Frank).
