Edited 5 years agoI hate to ask, but has anyone else experienced any unexpected distortion towards the end of Side C with Hillbilly Motobike/La Spirale? I imagine that the LP just needs a cleaning (this is the clear vinyl version by the way, unsure if that really has anything to do with the noise).

If anybody is wondering "Damn, Warp and Stereolab forgot to put the Japanese bonus track on the new "Margerine Eclipse" reissues", listen closely to "Hillbilly Motobike". "Hillbilly Motobike" (now at 4:51 versus the shorter original version at 2:21) appears to originally have included "La Spirale" within the track. Very interesting! Also very noteworthy is that "Vonal Declosion" is longer in length with a unique ending fragment (4:41) than the original version (3:33), "Bop Scotch" is also longer in length (4:34) than the original version (3:58) HOWEVER "Dear Marge" was originally longer on the original album (6:55) than how it appears here (6:22). Originally I was a little disappointed with this package just in of the bonus tracks, etc. BUT now seeing these differences, I can definitely say these reissues are really really awesome to have.
