My mother played this album out on first release, and now I understand why. I had to mature and go through some things (and some clubs). I have been wearing this record out, and now I need a new copy! Lo and behld it seems as if this classic soul / boogie funk release is going up in price, when I used to see it marked for only $3.00 in the early 2000's. Now that it has been out of print on vinyl, people are starting to appreciate this wonderful gem. "Even When You Sleep", "No Lies", "Sands of Time", "Borrowed Love" (which is "Just Be Good To Me's 2nd cousin), "The Finest" and even "Two Time Lover" which was produced by the band still sounds like it is the work of Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis' songwriting magic. This album deserves a 5/5 now and days.
